Clouds

Today I went through a cloud,
the big floating piece of iron and steel,
keeping itself in the air through sheer engineering magic,
it rolled through a cluster of clouds,
as they gathered above the world, so high.

Today I went through a cloud,
the big machine rocked and rolled,
and turbulence kept it feeling so blue,
for almost a moment I didn't know,
if this stumbling and rumbling would cease or no.

Today I went through a cloud,
the big monstrosity in the hands of a capable woman,
guided me out on the other side,
and what awaited me was a glorious rainbow.

Today I went through a cloud,
and as I came out on the other side,
I celebrated my victory over my own cloudiness,
for we all go through clouds,
but we gotta make it to the other side,
if not to see the rainbow,
then at least to say that,
I went through a cloud and I came out on the other side.
