Drifting

The wire holding me steady, connected; snapped and I drifted away, screaming all the way. Away from reality, consciousness and away from the earth. And as I looked around at the endless sky, nothing holding me down anymore, for the first time in my life, I felt truly free. Too bad I was officially screwed. 

I saw the theatrical trailer of 'Gravity' and just, had to write something very quickly. Will explore the concept in detail a little later. But can you imagine- free floating in space? *shudders*
