Different planets

So yesterday there was no 55word story theme. Which led four of us get together and write on a theme selected by @violet_droplet . Thus presented my 55 word story on theme: Distance.



I crossed continents, oceans, miles upon miles; all in the hope of your bright smile. But as we stand here, meters from each other, the distance seems insurmountable. Your frowning face lined with anger makes me realize that I may have to cross planets. For nothing is truer than You on Mars, I on Venus.
